Who operates the service
CheapestHours is maintained by SKA Trading Oy / Zemlo AI in Finland. Contact: sakke@elecz.com. The service compares electricity-price signals and flexible energy use without requiring an account or payment.
Your selections and browser storage
The site remembers your last selected country in browser local storage. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. Market, zone, appliance, kWh, waiting time and any entered runtime are carried in page URLs to calculate and display a result. Those URLs can remain in browser history and can be seen by anyone with whom you share the link. Do not put personal or sensitive information into these fields.
Requests to external services
Your browser requests electricity data directly from Elecz. Requests specify a market zone and time horizon; the energy estimate is used in the page’s calculation. Like other web requests, they expose technical information such as your IP address and browser request headers to the receiving service. We therefore do not describe these requests as completely anonymous.
Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Results may request exchange rates from Frankfurter for comparisons between markets. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Google advertising
The site includes Google AdSense code. When advertising services operate, Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies and use similar technologies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to provide, measure and personalize ads. Personalization may use previous visits to this site or other websites.
See how Google uses information from partner sites. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and participating vendors through AboutAds choices. Where an advertising consent message is presented, use its controls to accept, reject or change the available choices. Browser cookie controls are also available.
Google’s consent requirements apply to relevant advertising in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. A privacy notice alone is not consent. Advertising choices are handled through the applicable consent-management service, rather than through the country selector.
Technical data and statistics
Hosting and third-party services can process ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser details, to deliver the site, protect it and measure service use. Aggregate traffic reports may be used to understand how the site is used. This notice does not claim that every technical request or provider log is anonymous.
If you contact us
An email sends us the address and message you provide. We use that information to respond and investigate the issue. We do not need account credentials, payment details or other sensitive information to investigate a market-data report. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the enquiry; contact us to request deletion or correction.
Your privacy questions
You can contact the operator to ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or other applicable privacy rights. Third-party providers handle their own records and privacy controls. You can also contact the relevant data-protection authority if you have a concern.
Changes
We update this notice when the service’s data handling changes. See the date above for the latest update.
